Poland simply has everything! Lovely beaches and long dunes to the north, large lake districts and lowlands to the east, and green moors to the west, as well as stately mountains and Europe’s only table mountain (Góry Stołowe) in the south. Rising in the southern part of Poland are the Polish uplands, the Holy Cross Mountains, the Beskids, the Bieszczadzkie Mountains and the Sudeten mountains with the Giant Mountains. Poland’s only highlands are the Carpathians, and with the High Tatras are home to Poland’s highest mountain, the Rysy (2,499 m).
Baltic Sea: The Polish Baltic Sea Coast is approx. 500 km long and ideal for sunbathing and long walks. Idyllic fishing villages alternate with beautiful, charming steep coasts and long, fine sand beaches. On Poland's Baltic Sea Coast, visitors will find both lively goings-on at the beach and colourful Kashubian traditions. Not only gorgeous beaches, but also the lakes, rivers and forests make the Polish coast to one of the most popular holiday regions in Poland.
